How Dicor’s extension pole display drives RV product sales
We went to great lengths to freshen up branding for RV cleaning and maintenance products from our client Dicor, an Airxcel company. Our challenge was to create a self-standing point-of-purchase display that showcased Dicor’s go-to RV cleaning and maintenance products. A nine-foot extension pole for Dicor scrub brushes gave us an ideal starting point that drove RV product sales. We put Rudy, the Dicor spokesperson, to work in the display. His can’t-miss action pointed out how the Dicor extension pole, attachments and solutions make it easy to fully reach and clean an RV from top to bottom. Next challenge – design a display that could be built, printed, shipped and assembled on-site in a cost-effective trial quantity. Dicor needed to gauge placement and sales success before going all-out on distribution.
The trial launch gave us the perfect opportunity to extend the refreshed brand look we created for Dicor that features an illustrated look-alike of Rudy. A fan favorite with Dicor customers, Rudy pops up in all kinds of places to help sell Dicor products. Our design and production masterminds at TaigMarks researched materials and methods to form the three-dimensional display in a cost-effective way. We mixed up just the right solution by featuring a limited number of seasonally appropriate products. That gave Dicor a chance to restock displays on-site and extend overall return on investment within one sales cycle. Each new cycle of displays created a profit for our client.
A regional corrugated producer in our hometown partnered with us to engineer and design multiple prototypes. The result – a corrugated display that keeps costs down and allows for flat shipping to locations nationwide. Each display ships with assembly instructions we created. We also resolved fulfillment challenges to make sure Dicor received finished, ready-to-ship displays for its aftermarket partners. The durable, self-standing point-of-purchase display raises the bar – or pole – for Rudy to introduce new Dicor products into aftermarket sales environments.
