Recently TaigMarks helped an RV supplier conduct an open house at a subsidiary manufacturer for a major RV corporation. Product managers, purchasing officers and other executives from that and other manufacturing subsidiaries attended the event, which was staged in a 60’ X 60’ training room. Product presentations were featured along with food and door prizes to create a festive atmosphere.
Starting over a month before, TaigMarks led the planning to make the most of the space and create invitations, signage and other materials. TaigMarks team members provided on-site direction for the set-up, and also rolled up their sleeves and applied their own elbow grease to the event’s set-up and take-down. TaigMarks’ “can do” spirit was applied in at least a couple glitch situations.
The result? “Our client was definitely happy with the turnout, with the look of the space, with the details, with the effort, with the teamwork between client and agency,” says Dan Carter, account executive for TaigMarks. “And, of course, they were most pleased with the bottom line that gave them a tremendous boost in incremental sales!”
“This shows how an event can be a very effective and efficient way to reach executives from different concerns without waiting for a trade show or even leaving their own office or having a lot of space,” says Dan. “People get a first-hand look at the product, they hear first-hand about it, and they can pose questions to company representatives right then and there, face to face. And it’s all done in a fun, festive way.”
