A new personality joined the Dicor team when we created Rudy, the engaging character and spokesperson for all Dicor aftermarket roofing products. The introduction of Rudy has accelerated Dicor’s sales and top-of-mind brand dominance at consumer and dealer levels. Rudy appears on all packaging design, advertising, POS materials, distributor catalogs, videos, and social media influencer boxes. He even has his own website.
Today, Rudy has strong brand appeal with RV owners which is why calls from consumers started flooding in asking for Rudy! But even with his star status quality, Rudy needed a fresh new look. We even developed Rudy’s character using a new packaging design for social media influencers to use and help promote Dicor’s products on the ever-evolving world of social media and its various channels.
Rudy’s character has been associated with Dicor roofing products through many channels, such as labels, videos, catalogs, e-newsletters, bobbleheads, and more. As with all real-life characters, Rudy needed to stay young and fresh. That’s why we transformed the real-life personality into an illustrated and animated Rudy.
A new line of aftermarket-only RV cleaning care products gave us the perfect time to introduce the new Rudy in comic book style and video. OEMs are also meeting Rudy through trade magazine print ads and new product videos.
